Important Notice for Class Members and People Who Access

My Course Notes Through the Internet:

It is the policy of the course coordinator that the web site for this course be openly available, in part as a recruiting tool (i.e. not password protected). Therefore I want to make this important disclaimer about the material I am posting on it. I am a graphics weenie. None of the graphics in my course notes were developed by me. I have pulled them off of the internet from various places, over multiple years. They are in the notes solely for the use of my students for educational purposes. Whenever I have been able to, I have credited where I got them and asked permission to use them. In some cases, this has not been possible, I think because many of them have been used multiple times without credit. I have used the graphics, with some trepidation, without knowing their source, and who to ask for permission, because they are such great illustrations. But someone put in hard effort making these graphics and I do not want to be a continuing source of dissemination of something that is not mine. If anyone who is responsible for any of the graphics I have in my notes sees anything that is your property, please contact me. If you would give me permission to use them, with credit, I would be grateful. If you would prefer that I did not, I will take them off the site.

Thank you, and apologies, Gloria Moore
