UF Office of Sustainability Teaching Grant, 2007 - 2008
- $2500 was awarded as a mini-grant for the Enhancement of Sustainability in teaching to Dan Cantliffe for HOS 6932 (Greenhouse and Protected Vegetable Production Spring 2008.) The award will receive matching funds from the Horticultural Sciences Department.

ASHS Student Travel Grants, 2007
- $500 travel grants were awarded to Jiyoung Hong, Jeanmarie Mitchell, Dzingai Rukuni, Shubin Saha, Nicole Shaw, and Elizabeth Thomas to participate at the Annual Conference for the American Society for Horticultural Sciences, held 16-20 July 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

ISHS Names 2006 International Fellow, 2006
- Dan Cantliffe receives the highest awarded honor of the International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) in Seoul, Korea, at the 27th International Horticultural Congress, 13-19 Aug. 2006. UF/IFAS News 8.31.06 article.
