Plant Molecular and
Cellular Biology
This is an interdisciplinary minor for students desiring specialization
in the area of Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology. It is particularly
appropriate for students majoring in Horticultural Sciences, Microbiology
and Cell Science, Plant Science and all other related fields. This minor
will offer students opportunities for academic training and hands-on experience
in current laboratory techniques. Students with a science interest will
obtain focused training in this minor which should prepare them for graduate
school, laboratory positions and the expanding plant biotechnology marketplace.
