2006 Tomato Packinghouse Managers Workshop
The Tomato Packinghouse Managers Workshop will be held on the afternoon of September 5 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Naples and the day before the Florida Tomato Institute. We will be presenting the latest research information from the past year related to sanitation and food safety. This will be the second time we have offered this event, which is co-sponsored by UF/IFAS Extension and the Florida Tomato Committee. Last year there were more than 40 participants representing over 70% of the Florida tomato acreage. Although the focus will be on fresh-market tomato, the information will be very useful for anyone involved in handling fresh produce.
