Research

Weed Control in Vegetable Crop Production

Herbicide efficacy, phytotoxicity and interactions. Research focuses on use of herbicides in weed control systems. Tests efficacy on difficult to control weeds, crop phytotoxicity and interactions of other pesticides to action of herbicides.

Integrated Weed Management. Research focuses on integration of all methods of weed control in a production system.

Weed-Crop interactions. Research focuses on competition and interference of specific weeds in crop production systems.

IR-4 Director

North Florida IR-4 Field Research Unit - Gainesville

Carry out GLP residue and efficacy tests for tolerances of pesticides in minor crops. Unit carries out 30-40 protocols per year.
